I studied graphic design and moved to London in 1992. I have over 25 years experience working in design consultancies and advertising agencies, most notably Proximity London (Head of Design), CHI&Partners (Head of Design for Direct), SevenSeconds (Head of Digital Design) and Bartle Bogle Hegarty (Head of Design for Direct). I’ve worked across disciplines, but have a real passion for visual identity, having designed entire visual systems for British Airways, British Gas and Royal Bank of Scotland.
Since 2012, I’ve specialised in digital design and communications. I was a Founding Partner at SevenSeconds — an eCommerce consultancy dedicated to helping retailers innovate online. I led the design on a number of new transactional sites for Waitrose, including: Cellar, Gifts and Gardening. I also worked closely with digital teams at Boots and Next to develop online Global Experience Language (GEL) guidelines to ensure design consistency throughout their customer journeys.
